Super Sentence!
We have all been reading the first book in class and so I want you to quote me a sentence you read from the book that you either liked or related to in some way. After you write the sentence, then tell us why you chose it...was it funny, does it remind you of you or someone else? Does it remind you of a memory you have? Make sure you only respond to this question in this part of the blog. If you want to chitchat, you can go to the first post which is entitled, Introduction. I can't wait to read what you pick! This is due next Tuesday, Jan. 19th!

My paragraph is on page 50. It is the following-"Maybe it's a game," Daphne said. "I'm going to be a detective, too! I'm going to be Scooby Doo!"
ReplyDeletei liked the part of the book where granny Grimm said either the hills are getting steeper or i am getting older.I just thought it was really funny.I bet granny Grimm hopes the hilles are getting steeper

ReplyDelete"I can't hear you!" Sabrina yelled." More than six!" the old woman replied. "Six what?" Sabrina screamed. "Probably!" The old woman laughed, turning back around. I like this sentence the best because it's funny. It's funny because Sabrina and Mrs. Grimm are trying to talk with each other, but they're talking about two totally different subjects.

ReplyDeletei forgot what page it was but when mayor charming said ''Make sure you check his teeth when (you or him )(i forgot) go to bed.'' i thought he was joking which would be funny but then i thought about it and maybe he wasnt joking.

ReplyDeleteyour first post was fine, lilkridinghood! it was even better than the second one. When you write in ALL capital letters, it means you are yelling in computer talk and some people think that is rude. You are doing fine!
